Last Thursday, April 19, the Austrian Cultural Forum NY celebrated their 10th anniversary with a performance by Klangforum Wien. The renowned chamber ensemble performed solo works, duos, trios and quartets by Kurtag, Roman Haubenstock-Ramati, Isang Yun, Salvatore Sciarrino, Franco Donatoni and others, climaxing with an extraordinary world premiere by Polish vocalist Agata Zubel, entitled “What is the Word”.
